Bar Italia is at the heart of Soho and feels like it. It's a small Italian coffee bar that has been around since 1949. The coffee machine and till look original. I usually call in for a coffee to sober me up after stumbling out of a club, and in preparation for the night bus journey home.
It's always busy, whatever time I go in. If you can get a seat outside then its a great spot to sit and watch the tourists, wierdos and bicycle rickshaws go by. They serve the regular Italian sandwiches and cakes. The coffee is great too.
