The corner grill is, in my opinion, the best thing in the way of culture that this college town has to offer. For many years it has existed as a hub of different groups of people; construction workers in the early morning followed by old men, lawyers on their lunch breaks, high school hipsters in the afternoon, and drunken college students in the late hours. The food is pretty standard, and the staff can be as surly and sarcastic as one might expect. The coffee is great and prices are good. It's definitely worth checking out. The place is friendly to limited loitering if you aren't a jerk, but they won't hesitate to kick you out if you're obnoxious or didn't tip in the past.
