all damned night!
ahh the Big L. i have smoked more cigarettes and spent more hours there than i can remember. there was a time when i spent almost every night at this dump. the truth is that it is a shit heap - which is exactly what makes it wonderful. excellent french fries, the best diner coffee you will ever taste, and it is absolutely necessary that you get the blueberry muffin on the grill (although ask for the ones where the blueberrys are spread out.) - NeVER USE THE BATHROOM - this place is perfect for people watching, (look for the old "hells angels" guy with long bleached blond hair, black leather pants and a hat to match). you can spend HOURs here just drinking coffee (i once spent 6 hours sitting at a booth and ordered nothing more than coffee and french fries)- as long as you tip the staff well (if we only order coffee, we usually tip %150), you can be there as long as you like...whether its the old grupy waitresses that call you baby or the young pot-head waiters that lick you and slap your ass as you leave, this place is never boring, and is very possibly my favorite place on earth.
